In the latest EYFS Framework (2024), it states...

‘Childminders / Providers should consider whether paediatric first aiders need to undertake annual refresher training, during any three-year certification period to help maintain basic skills and keep up to date with any changes to PFA procedures.’

while this is not mandatory, completing an annual Paediatric First Aid Refresher Course & staying up to date with any changes is fantastic practice.
